I DON'T BUY FRESH FISH. Ok hear me out... the MAJO I DON'T BUY FRESH FISH. Ok hear me out... the MAJORITY of the fish at the grocery store says "fresh" salmon or whatever. Then says previously frozen. Aka they defrosted frozen fish for you. It then sits there for a few days until you buy it and cook it. This results in a super fishy flavour and funky texture sometimes too. So unless I'm buying it legit off of a fishing boat/market... I opt for frozen! Seafood is actually frozen AT SEA at its peak. Also, it's way easier to keep on hand and defrosts quickly in some cool water or overnight. It's cheaper too! What's your favourite seafood? I still haven't cooked with scallops 🙃

P.s. I wasn't a huge fan of fish growing up but kept trying because omega 3 fats are AMAZING so now I love it. I started with white fish like tilapia and worked my way up. My GO TO recipe for salmon is patting it dry, sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, @traderjoes chilli lime seasoning, drizzle of @wedderspoonofficial honey. Baked at 400F for 8ish minutes. Perfect every time 🥳.

The EASIEST recipe that is naturally sweetened and is gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free (depending on what chocolate you use). I like my muffins not super sweet so I can heat up, add some nut butter or jam and enjoy with a nice hot cup of coffee in the mornings!
