Antioxidant Blueberry Vanilla Smoothie say that 5 Antioxidant Blueberry Vanilla Smoothie say that 5 times fast 😋 I love my go to greens smoothies but wild blueberries are the best and I still snuck greens in here anyways 😄. I swear the key to the best texture is frozen ingredients and a Vitamix. 100% worth the investment if you drink a smoothie a day like me 🙂. Save my recipe to try asap!
.
1-1.5 cups unsweetened milk of choice (could sub half Greek yogurt)
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 of 1 celery stalk *I use frozen
Slice of ginger
2 handfuls spinach
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used half scoop of @ancientnutrition bone broth protein in vanilla + half scoop @botanicahealth perfect protein in vanilla)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
.
Blend everything in @vitamixca and enjoy! Add more/less liquid depending on preferred consistency. I like to top with @natursource nut mixes.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN VEGAN PROTEIN POWDERS? I get a WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN VEGAN PROTEIN POWDERS? I get a lot of questions about this and I have tried quite the list now 🤣. I personally love @botanicahealth products and have been using them for years. [AD] This one is the Perfect Protein Elevated Brain Booster with Lion's Mane & Rhodiola (both amazing adaptogens). They have a variety of proteins that are vegan, organic, non-gmo, stevia free, soy free and more! My quick go-to checklist is below.
.
1. Choose a brand you trust. I remember my first protein powder was a random one with terrible ingredients over 10+ years ago from a health food store and when I was scared I would look bulky taking a protein supplement 🤣
2. Check the serving size. Sometimes you need 1 scoop to hit your goals and other times more. I look for at least 20g per serving. There are some "dirty bulk" brands that pack in the calories but personally I prefer a clean protein and then adding in ingredients such as avocado or almond butter to up the calorie intake as needed.
3. Check the sugar content. Less than 4g is ideal. Also check what alternative sweetener may be used depending on what you prefer like stevia or monk fruit.
4. Are there extra vitamins, probiotics, fiber added? These are always a plus and worth spending the $ if it's easy for you to incorporate into your life.
