Espresso Chocolate Protein Bites

Hi friends!

I’m such a dessert person and literally anything chocolate is the way to my heart.  Sometimes I just crave a sweet bite but don’t want to make a huge dessert so I love making bites like these that stay in my fridge and are available when I need them.

I used the Garden of Life’s “All-in-one Nutritional Shake” packet in chocolate cacao flavour, which is vegan, has no gluten, soy, dairy, tree nuts, added sugars, filler ingredients, artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or preservatives and has 40 grams of protein per packet (2 servings/packet).  You can buy it on their website by clicking here or use any other vegan protein powder you like! I have a dairy allergy so I have not tried this with any dairy based powders like whey or casein.  The chocolate-espresso topping and the bee pollen is totally optional, I just wanted something a bit more decadent for my sweet tooth 🙂 .

I’d love for you to try my recipe, please tag me on Facebook or Instagram (@balancingandie) so I can follow along :).  Click here to pin this recipe for future reference so subscribe to my blog to never miss a post!
